HANNVOER MESSE 2009 took place
from 20 to 24 April. This year three major themes were added
to the top ten themes in HANNVOER MESSE 2008, so there were
a total of thirteen major themes: process automation, factory
automation, industrial building automation, MDA (Motion, Drive
& Automation), digital factory, industrial components
and subcontracting technology, energy, wind energy, power
plant technology, compressed air and vacuum technology, surface
treating technology, microsystem technology, research &
technology. Energy efficiency in industrial processes was
a core focus throughout the show, so energy and industrial
automation was the main event this year. Wind energy exhibition
had a highly successful debut this year.
HANNOVER MESSE was founded on August 1947. With the development
and improvement for more than half a century, HANNOVER MESSE
has become the largest international technology event, which
is recognized as the leading world¡¯s showcase linking technology
field and business field around the world. This year¡¯s Partner
Country was the Republic of Korea. There were 6,150 exhibitors
from 61 countries, located in 27 exhibition halls and with
displays filling 224,800 square meters of space. Nearly half
of exhibitors came from abroad. Italy, China, Korea, Turkey
and India head the ranks of foreign exhibiting nation in Hannover
this year. Almost every exhibition hall had Chinese exhibitors,
but the majority was medium and small enterprise with 1-2
standard booth.
Though affected by financial crisis this year, around 210,000
visitors came to Hannover for event ¨C one in four of them
from abroad. 70 percent of show¡¯s foreign visitors were from
other European nations, 19 percent from Asia and 7 percent
from America. Apart from the host nation of Germany, the biggest
visitor contingents came from Netherlands, Austria, Belgium,
India, Denmark and Italy. However, this year many exhibition
halls have relatively less visitors than last year.
This was our first time to participate in HANNVOER MESSE.
Our booth was in Hall 7 that was the theme hall of INTERKAMA
which was the event of automated meter. Some automated meter
industries had their own special hall, such as IKrohne, E+H,
Vega, Wika.
Siemens also had large-sized special hall in factory automation
and drive hall, ABB in energy hall.
The highlight in INTERKAMA area is wireless network. In wireless
Hart booth, the meter with wireless adapter to communicate
with system was displayed by Emerson, Siemens, E+H, ABB. Emerson¡¯s
wireless Hart 3051 transmitter is supplied by solar energy,
the cable is not required to connect power supply, even it
can be used on a cloudy day. These products have been put
on the market, which is the tendency for the meter development. |
